Responsibilities
- Prompt Architecture: Design, develop, and rigorously test advanced prompting strategies for LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama 3).
- Optimization: Analyze model outputs to reduce hallucinations, improve accuracy, and enhance response coherence.
- Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and data scientists to integrate prompt logic into production APIs and workflows.
- Evaluation: Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to determine the most effective prompting techniques.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive style guides, best practices documentation, and internal toolkits for the engineering team.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve in AI research, experimenting with new techniques like Chain-of-Thought and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in AI, NLP, or a related field, with a focus on prompt engineering or content strategy.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of how LLMs work, including tokenization, temperature settings, and system prompt engineering.
- Communication: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript, and familiarity with tools like OpenAI API, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
- Problem Solving: A keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex prompt failures.
