Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement security controls to protect network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Create comprehensive incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security protocols and create executive-level reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
