Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompts for GPT-4, Claude, and custom LLMs
- Develop prompt libraries and reusable frameworks for enterprise clients
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize prompt performance and output quality
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering best practices
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompts into production systems
- Research emerging prompt techniques and industry benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt optimization methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in NLP, LLM deployment, or prompt engineering
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt optimization projects
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Excellent written communication with technical documentation skills
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS) and retrieval-augmented generation
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
