Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and refine high-impact prompts for production LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Llama)
- Develop proprietary prompt frameworks for enterprise clients in healthcare and finance
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to optimize output accuracy and safety
- Create documentation standards for prompt engineering workflows and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design principles and ethical AI deployment
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompts into production AI pipelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production LLMs
- Proficiency in Python and prompt orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Published research or portfolio demonstrating advanced prompt techniques
- Expertise in fine-tuning models for domain-specific applications
- Strong understanding of AI safety protocols and bias mitigation
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field preferred
