Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies for large language models
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version-controlled documentation
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to optimize response accuracy
- Create training materials for engineering teams on prompt best practices
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt systems into production pipelines
- Analyze model outputs to identify improvement opportunities in prompt design
- Stay current with emerging NLP techniques and industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- 3+ years in prompt engineering or NLP-focused development roles
- Expertise in Python with experience in LLM frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for specific use cases
- Experience with MLOps tools and experiment tracking (MLflow, Weights & Biases)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt solutions
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
