Responsibilities
- Instructional Design: Design complex, multi-step prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to achieve specific business outcomes and user goals.
- Optimization: Continuously refine and iterate on prompt architectures to minimize hallucinations and improve output coherence and relevance.
- Testing & Validation: Develop rigorous testing frameworks and conduct A/B testing to evaluate prompt performance against key metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into precise AI instructions.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation and libraries of prompt patterns for internal reuse and knowledge sharing.
- Ethical AI: Identify potential biases in prompt outputs and implement safeguards to ensure fair and responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in AI, NLP, or a related technical field with a focus on LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Bard).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Writing Proficiency: Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, style, and rhetoric.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex prompt failures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
