Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompts for large language models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
- Conduct prompt engineering experiments and iterate based on performance metrics
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt development workflows
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model capabilities
- Train and mentor junior prompt engineers on advanced techniques
- Analyze user interaction data to refine prompt effectiveness
- Develop prompt libraries for diverse industry applications (healthcare, finance, e-commerce)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP role
- Proven expertise with GPT, Claude, or similar LLM platforms
- Strong understanding of transformer architecture and attention mechanisms
- Exceptional written communication and analytical reasoning skills
- Experience developing prompts for enterprise-scale applications
