Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for large language models
- Develop evaluation frameworks to quantify prompt performance and user satisfaction
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into live products
- Document prompt libraries and best practices for engineering teams
- Research emerging LLM capabilities and translate findings into prompt strategies
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to refine conversational flows
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in prompt engineering or NLP development
- Expertise with LLM frameworks (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) and APIs
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical prompts
- Strong background in linguistics, cognitive science, or computational linguistics
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering tools (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Demonstrated portfolio of prompt optimization projects
- Experience working in agile product development environments
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field
