Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for enterprise AI applications
- Develop proprietary prompt libraries and reusable frameworks across multiple AI models
- Conduct rigorous prompt performance analysis using A/B testing methodologies
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model capabilities
- Create comprehensive prompt documentation and best practice guidelines
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering principles and ethical AI practices
- Stay current with emerging AI model architectures and prompt optimization techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional prompt engineering experience with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Llama)
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready prompt systems
- Expertise in prompt optimization, testing frameworks, and evaluation metrics
- Strong Python programming skills with experience in AI SDKs (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Deep understanding of NLP fundamentals and transformer architectures
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt engineering solutions
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Preferred: MS/PhD in NLP, Computational Linguistics, or related field
