Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN networks using Cisco technologies
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve security incidents
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN/firewall systems (Palo Alto, Fortinet) for remote access
- Document network topology changes and maintain up-to-date Visio diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with NIST standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco CCNP certification
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela) and network automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex VPN/firewall issues
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environment
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
