Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and optimize SD-WAN solutions for multi-site connectivity
- Conduct proactive network monitoring using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Lead network migrations and upgrades with zero-downtime requirements
- Document network architectures and create runbooks for operational excellence
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network administration
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification required
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Strong experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructures
- Proficient in automation tools (Ansible, Python) for network provisioning
- Valid NC driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
