Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security incidents, and connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols and access controls
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for complex network infrastructure
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or Network Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with Wireshark and packet analysis
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
