Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet systems
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall management, VPN configurations, and threat mitigation
- Perform proactive network monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot critical network outages and implement rapid resolution protocols
- Document network architecture, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to ensure seamless hybrid network integration
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Advanced certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, or CompTIA Network+ Security+
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies
- Strong experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible)
- Proven track record of managing high-availability network environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision
