Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Document network configurations and perform routine maintenance checks
- Assist senior technicians in implementing security protocols and updates
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support (rotating schedule)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network solutions
- Adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (A+ or Network+ certification a plus)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training within 90 days
