Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize complex LAN/WAN networks including Cisco, Juniper, and VMware solutions
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools with proactive issue resolution
- Lead network upgrades and migrations while maintaining 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Document network architectures and create disaster recovery plans
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical infrastructure issues
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct regular training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Certifications: CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent required, CCIE/JNCIE preferred
- Expertise in routing/switching, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure networking services
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
