Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto networks
- Implement security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration projects
- Document network architecture and create disaster recovery plans
- Lead network upgrade projects while minimizing downtime
- Provide Tier-3 support for escalated network issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level network administration experience
- CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent advanced credentials
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN technologies
- Proficiency with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Experience with VMware NSX and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex network issues
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification required
