Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols including VPNs, ACLs, and zero-trust architectures
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and AWS/Azure environments
- Lead network upgrades and migrations with zero downtime
- Provide Tier 3 support during critical business hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required, CCIE/JNCIE preferred
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Proficient in network automation (Python/Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN design
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
