Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform regular network audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary patches.
- Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
- Respond to and resolve network outages and technical issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime for end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software deployments and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network security best practices and firewall configuration.
- Familiarity with fiber optic cabling and structured cabling standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
