Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimize Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and maintain secure VPN solutions, wireless networks, and SD-WAN architectures
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds/PRTG tools with SLA-driven incident response
- Lead network security initiatives including threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits
- Document network topologies, configuration changes, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects and hybrid network solutions
- Mentor junior technicians and stay current with emerging networking technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent certification (CCNP/JNCIP preferred)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with complex multi-site environments
- Expert proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Certification in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) required
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to troubleshoot complex network outages
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel between company sites
