Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and monitor VPN solutions, wireless networks, and cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure)
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting using Wireshark, SolarWinds, and diagnostic tools
- Develop network documentation, security policies, and disaster recovery protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network migrations and infrastructure upgrades
- Manage vendor relationships and hardware procurement for network components
- Ensure 99.9% uptime through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and network security protocols (IPSec, SSL)
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud networking services
- Strong scripting abilities (Python/PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) and infrastructure-as-code
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows and emergency support
