Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex LAN/WAN networks including Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet systems
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Lead network security protocols including VLAN segmentation, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
- Execute network migrations and expansions with zero downtime
- Document network topology and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid cloud connectivity
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical network incidents
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct network training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and load balancing (F5, Citrix)
- Strong knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Proficiency in scripting with Python/Ansible for automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Experience with AWS/Azure networking services
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
