Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco and Juniper devices
- Implement network security protocols and monitor for vulnerabilities using SIEM tools
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid network architectures
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical network outages and performance issues
- Lead network upgrade projects while maintaining zero-downtime operations
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN protocols
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) and automation (Python/Ansible)
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical skills with proven incident resolution history
- Experience with Azure/AWS networking services
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules
