Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex network architectures including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud integration
- Proactively monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Lead network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Coordinate disaster recovery scenarios and business continuity planning
- Document network configurations and maintain compliance with industry standards
- mentor junior technicians and provide technical leadership during critical incidents
- Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS/Azure) for hybrid infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network administration experience
- Certifications: CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent required; CCIE preferred
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and DNS protocols
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
