Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN infrastructure including Cisco and Juniper hardware
- Implement and monitor network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems)
- Troubleshoot complex network issues using diagnostic tools and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid network architectures and cloud connectivity
- Document network configurations, create technical diagrams, and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Lead network upgrade projects and coordinate vendor relationships for equipment procurement
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct regular network performance reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- CCNP or equivalent industry certification (CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA)
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies
- Strong knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
