Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud solutions
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Lead troubleshooting for network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document network configurations, policies, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability assessments and remediation
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper routing/switching and enterprise firewalls
- CCNP/JNCIE certification or equivalent advanced networking credentials
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network virtualization (VMware NSX/AWS VPC)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Experience with SD-WAN implementation and hybrid cloud architectures
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
