Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and resolve outages within SLA
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including VPNs, VLANs, and intrusion detection systems
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises solutions with AWS/Azure
- Document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Lead network upgrade projects including 10GigE and Wi-Fi 6E implementations
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues and mentor junior technicians
Qualifications
- CCNP/JNCIP certification with 5+ years enterprise network experience
- Expertise in OSPF, BGP, and advanced routing protocols
- Strong background in Palo Alto/Cisco ASA firewall management
- Proficiency with Wireshark, Wireshark, and network analysis tools
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- CCNA Security or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
