Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network solutions including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Lead complex network migrations and infrastructure upgrades with zero downtime
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and security protocols
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior network engineers
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust defense mechanisms
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new networking technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/CCIE certification required)
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, and load balancing
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, network virtualization, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Proven experience with network automation using Python/Ansible
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) preferred
- Ability to manage high-pressure network outages and incident response
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
