Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and cloud connectivity
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall management, intrusion detection, and vulnerability remediation
- Perform capacity planning and performance optimization for Cisco/Juniper environments
- Develop network automation solutions using Python/Ansible for operational efficiency
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Mentor junior technicians and document network architecture changes
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience (CCNP/JNCIP certification required)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure design
- Expert knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and load balancing technologies
- Proven experience with network virtualization (SD-WAN, VXLAN) and cloud networking
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for network automation
- Industry certifications (CCIE/JNCIE) preferred
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
