Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network architectures including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems
- Implement and maintain Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network hardware and software solutions
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds, PRTG, and other enterprise monitoring tools
- Lead network security initiatives including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust implementations
- Document network configurations, topologies, and disaster recovery procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure
- Certifications: CCNP/JNCIP or higher (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, and load balancing
- Strong knowledge of network security frameworks and best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues at Layer 2-7
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
