Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events within the SIEM environment using Splunk and FireEye.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Lead forensic investigations into security breaches and data anomalies to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH strongly preferred; Security+ or GCIH is required.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Proficiency with security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, Sentinel, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with minimal supervision.
