The Role:
As a Part-Time Data Analyst at Horizon Analytics, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into strategic business intelligence. You will work closely with our senior analysts to build reports, visualize trends, and support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and validate datasets to ensure high data quality and accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
- Perform complex data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations of data findings for stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations based on data trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while meeting tight deadlines.
