Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Enforce compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 across the organization.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring rapid recovery from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement secure coding practices and architecture.
- Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees to reduce human error risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security, SOC analysis, or Threat Intelligence.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize incidents under pressure.
