As the 2026 Vision Lead, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and international partners to identify paradigm shifts, anticipate disruptive trends, and translate foresight into actionable business strategies. Your work will directly influence product development, market expansion, and sustainable growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Produce strategic roadmaps and whitepapers on emerging market opportunities and disruptive threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-vision concepts into development pipelines
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, weak signal analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology foresight
- Experience with scenario planning tools and strategic modeling frameworks
