Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks identifying emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Create innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing opportunities
- Lead scenario planning initiatives to prepare organizational resilience for future uncertainties
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into product development pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and publish thought leadership content
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business, or related field
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience influencing C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications or journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or MForesight)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
