- Establish horizon scanning frameworks and trend intelligence systems
- Translate foresight into product development priorities and go-to-market strategies
- Present future outlooks at industry conferences and publish thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation networks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Proven track record of forecasting disruptive trends (e.g., AI, quantum, biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
