Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop future-proof roadmaps for product innovation and business model transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on strategic priorities
- Quantify market potential for emerging technologies through scenario modeling
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic insights to executive teams and external stakeholders
- Monitor horizon scanning frameworks and update strategic foresight quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or tech consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record in translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Strong financial modeling skills for opportunity valuation
- Experience leading cross-cultural, global innovation teams
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or Engineering preferred
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
