Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive foresight research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their 2026+ market impacts
- Develop future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for board-level decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to embed future insights into product development
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Translate foresight findings into actionable business strategies and investment priorities
- Present future trend briefings to executive leadership and influence organizational direction
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- Track record of translating foresight into successful commercial initiatives
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
