Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop innovation roadmaps and strategic frameworks for enterprise adoption of emerging tech
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity assessment
- Manage pilot programs for futuristic solutions (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Build partnerships with academic labs and research institutions
- Present insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching tech initiatives with 5+ year impact horizons
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, backcasting)
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or publications
