In this role, you will be the architect behind our Large Language Models (LLMs), crafting the precise instructions that drive the intelligence and creativity of our AI systems. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to optimize model performance and deliver groundbreaking solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design & Refine Prompts: Create and iterate on complex prompt structures to guide LLMs (like GPT-4, Claude, and Llama) to produce high-quality, context-aware responses.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and feedback loops to refine prompt strategies and improve output accuracy and safety.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt libraries, best practices, and system instructions to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Model Evaluation: Assess the performance of AI models against specific business KPIs and adjust prompts accordingly to meet project goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to integrate prompt engineering solutions into real-world applications and software products.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in prompt engineering, technical writing, or a related field within AI/ML.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of how Large Language Models work and experience using APIs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Anthropic.
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with Python or JavaScript is highly desirable.
- Writing Ability: Exceptional command of language, grammar, and rhetoric to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex logic issues and adapt strategies based on model outputs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
