Responsibilities
- Design & Refine: Develop complex, multi-step prompts and instruction-tuning datasets for Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama) to maximize accuracy and performance.
- Optimization: Continuously test and iterate on prompt engineering strategies to reduce model hallucinations and improve response coherence.
- Integration: Work closely with software engineers to integrate prompt chains into production APIs and internal tools.
- Evaluation: Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks and metrics to measure the effectiveness of AI outputs against business KPIs.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on prompt patterns, best practices, and usage guidelines for the engineering team.
- Creative Problem Solving: Explore novel use cases for generative AI to solve complex business problems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in prompt engineering, technical writing, or computational linguistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with RESTful APIs. Experience with LangChain or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of NLP concepts, transformer architectures, and LLM capabilities.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapting to rapidly changing AI technologies.
