Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership pieces on emerging technology convergence
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends with quantifiable impact assessments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., SWOT, STEEP, Delphi) preferred
