Location: New York, NY (Must be able to commute to our office in Lower Manhattan).
Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define feature requirements and deliver high-quality UI/UX.
- Performance: Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry standards; conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high quality.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues and bugs, debugging code to ensure application stability.
- Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Frontend: Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Backend: Strong experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
