The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design and implementation. You will own features from conception to deployment, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will mentor junior developers and collaborate closely with product managers to define the roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js.
- Architect robust APIs and microservices to support high-volume transaction processing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define product requirements and features.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
