The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be the technical lead for key product initiatives. You will bridge the gap between complex backend systems and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring our software solutions are robust, secure, and user-centric.
Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and microservices using modern frameworks.
- Frontend Development: Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
- Backend Engineering: Develop robust APIs and server-side logic using Node.js and Python.
- Database Management: Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity using SQL and NoSQL solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and solve technical challenges.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in full-stack development.
- Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Databases: Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
