Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency trading systems for equity options pricing and execution
- Develop and optimize numerical libraries for options valuation models (Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo, etc.)
- Build real-time risk management frameworks for complex derivatives portfolios
- Create high-throughput market data processing pipelines with sub-microsecond latency
- Architect scalable microservices for options trading, clearing, and settlement
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and validate pricing algorithms
- Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and disaster recovery protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in high-frequency trading or financial derivatives software development
- Expertise in C++, Python, and modern distributed computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models and market microstructure
- Proven track record of optimizing systems for sub-millisecond latency
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and exchange connectivity systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex mathematical concepts
