Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to visualize data for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate key findings and recommendations to management and non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and propose solutions to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and support product development.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Visualization Tools: Expert-level knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to a diverse audience.
