Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Retrieve and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies that impact business performance.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Python to communicate insights effectively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and support data-driven decision-making.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports, specifically focusing on weekend operational metrics.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in data pipelines and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data models, processes, and methodologies used during analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Tools: Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights.
- Schedule: Must be available and willing to work the weekend shift (Saturday/Sunday) as required.
