Responsibilities
- Data Processing: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain complex dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to support business forecasting and resource allocation strategies.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and communicate analytical findings effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve overall data workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a corporate or financial environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Availability: Must be available to work a weekend shift schedule (e.g., Saturday/Sunday or Friday-Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to the New York metropolitan area.
