Responsibilities
- Database Management: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python to ensure data integrity for the weekend reporting cycle.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present trends to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly analytical reports that highlight business performance, user behavior, and revenue growth.
- Data Quality Assurance: Identify discrepancies in data and implement automated scripts to correct errors, ensuring high-quality output for the business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product and marketing teams to define data requirements and support A/B testing initiatives.
- Forecasting: Analyze historical data to build predictive models that assist in quarterly planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a technology or financial services environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python or R for data manipulation, and Excel (VBA/Macros).
- Visualization: Strong experience creating dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise business recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Must be available to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and standard weekday hours as required.
