Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across enterprise systems
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and implement robust security controls using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform penetration testing and security audits of network infrastructure
- Create executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in threat detection/response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat investigation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance if required
